The whole uberpowerful UN thing is theoretical. It now and for the forseeable future has no power or police or army of any kind and never has; if that ever changes some day decades down the line, then that's one thing (hell I wrote a song about that once and called it Eulogy of the Human Race, so I can appreciate that), but prematurely assuming the UN is the Death Star right now is actually a line sold by the rich Swinton was talking about, primarily used to convince people that the US should take aggressive interventionist actions in other countries unilaterally no matter what the UN says. The UN does not have the power to censor the Internet, the biggest threat of that is anti-Net Neutrality politicians here.
