Tombs sounds pretty sweet on record, but live it didn't woo me
Tides was fucking fantastic and kinda stole the night for me
Trash Talk brought out the motherfucking thugs, which was unexpected. Disco ball bit the dust and angriness ensued.
Victims is fucking sweet.
Coliseum was out of control and anyone who is a drummer should stare at their drummer for hours and hours and hours.
Not a bad turn out for a Monday night in Providence. But the show deserved better, of course. |

Tombs had a few things here and there that I liked. But, they didn't wet my willy. Tides had their shit together. I dug it much. Trash talk caught my attention at moments. The kids dug em. I was anticipating seeing victims and was not let down. So, yeah how bout that drummer from Coliseum...he was the driving force in this band which all drummers should be.

lets get one thing straight. you DO NOT have the skill to operate a wood burning grill. besides that and hanging out with pires talking about batman, show was mother fucking amazing. victims ruled me. i love you in swedish. |

blacktail: not a lot of people upfront, but o liked what I heard. The guitarplayer that doesn't sing in doomriders plays guitar in his band.
trash talk: like I had said, this was like a brockton show cause of all the brockton heads that came out to this event. It was kind of highschool reunion-like seeing all the people there. Most of them were there for trash talk. This band was damn fine. Jumping non-stop and the singer rolled into the crowd a bunch of times.
Victims: I had been hearing people sucking this band's band cock for years, but never heard them before. I can see why they get praised so much. Both swedish and hardcore sounding delivered in winning fashion. Yeah, there are a bunch of bands just like this in the world, but they do it very well.
coliseum: massive sound, but it's all about the drummer. That dude is beyond crazy. I love it. |
