this show is running late.. only the 3rd band is playing now.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 6:36pm
all in: hilarious. I was thinking to myself they remind me of 7 seconds expire, SBC, humans being and then someone said it was members of human's being. I haven't thought about them for so long. they were from back when the even hardcore bands were kind of nu-metal... but not really.

buckhunter: people just stood there watching. A typical buckhunter set makes me scared at the 1/2 way point. This set was sans alcohol so the band just stood there trying not to laugh and failing. There was a ring of all camera people, jared the zompire and the mullet. Weird...

40SLS: they were so gd loud. I kept adjusting my earplugs, but it did nothing. It sounded like they were playing through buckhunters gear (which is always on 11). There was a lot of dancing during their set, but then the people in the back got mowed down and some one hurt her wrist and then there wasn't any dancing.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 7:02pm
shoot your wounded: yes, they did just break up like a month ago, but they are back. Some how they are like over the top and will probably have monthly reunion shows. They are always a favorite on NH shows so people packed up near the front. As soon as the first note dropped people started moshing and cleared out all the people. This pretty much kept up through the entire set. People sang along with everything.

all in.......
buckhunter awesome
40sls people need to learn to respect others and not be total dicks. chairs started too come out during this set
hammer bros. good quality old school hardcore.

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Mar 4,2007 10:00pm
i heard 40sls jumped someone outside the show.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 4,2007 10:08pm
i always hear bad things when they play about kids doing stupid shit
i wanted to go today, but now i'm glad i didn't if it ran this late and got so fucked up.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 10:23pm
that's funny, in brockton, they always have so many girls that join the sing alongs just fine.

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 4,2007 10:26pm
yeah that is funny. my friend saw them at the italian club in western ma like a week ago and he left like after 2 songs because he said everyone was just being dicks he didn't elaborate though. but hes a pretty legite dude, he can handle anything, so i was like thats strange.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 11:50pm
nope. it's the canon.
ISO 1600 + landscape mode + sb-800 @ M 1/32

toggletoggle post by futurebreed   at Mar 4,2007 11:56pm
Oh cool cool. The Canon gives the photos a very different but cool feel. I like it

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 4,2007 11:57pm
well, the colors are always sooooo off that, I decided to just go with it.

the dover show as not cancelled. Hammer Bros. dropped off the show because there singer was wicked late and they didnt want to hold back the show another 30 minutes. the HOODS show was really good as well, even if there were only like 80 people

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 5,2007 7:00am
yo you can think what ever you want,i dunno why you have to be talkin shit through a review seriously if u need to say somethin say something to the band cause thats the only way you will get your message through to them. Thanx

toggletoggle post by andrew king at Mar 5,2007 9:26am
just to stop any rumors from going around.. 40SLS did not in fact jump anyone outside the show and if we did, that would be news to me. we have no control over who winds up hitting who or any of that bullshit, and that doesnt represent us, so im not going to even bother apologizing on anyones behalf.. I shouldnt even be defending us for that matter. alright anyways after this terribly long winded reply to any rumors going around, Id say this was a good show and everyone that played had a good set. \\m/

toggletoggle post by CiRE at Mar 5,2007 10:35am
yo seriously if shows are too tough for you then why do you stay, get the cd off line if you like the music. fights happen weather you're at a fucking country music hall or a venue. get used to it because its not going any where music causes emotions, and emotions make people upset. thats why people fight. so suck it up and stop being pussies!

toggletoggle post by aaron_michael  at Mar 5,2007 10:53am
the lifelong dilema of shows. people who "mosh" vs. the people who dislike the moshing but will never ever do anything about it until they're behind a computer to complain about how it's ruining everything.

take a stand kids.
don't like the way people dance? make them stop.
don't like people whining about people dancing? make them stop.

toggletoggle post by SacreligionNLI at Mar 5,2007 11:03am
umm it's not the moshing that people hate...it's the idiot kids that need to be macho tough guys and prove how awesome they are by fighting. they never stop to think "hey, if i start a fight and we break a bunch of shit and the cops show up, they probably won't do shows here anymore...but what do i care? i just come to mosh and look cool anyway"

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Mar 5,2007 11:08am
i agree if u dont like the way things are going dont just sit behind a computer do something or dont complain really hardcore metal w/e has changed very much some for the worst and good but its going to continue to change whether you like it or not you either accept it or just sit and be pissy on how things used to be and i see alot of bands getting bad reps for fights and what not if u like them awesome if you dont then why hate behind a computer just makes no sence to me

toggletoggle post by aaron_michael  at Mar 5,2007 11:12am
yeah, but that's the majority of people who go to these shows nowadays. this also doesn't excuse the fact that people who have huge problems with it, still don't do anything about it.

toggletoggle post by SacreligionNLI at Mar 5,2007 11:17am
what could you do about it though? start a fight? that's just counterproductive.

the only thing you can do is break up a fight if you see one

i never see em though, since i'm never at "core" shows

toggletoggle post by ConquerTheBaphomet  at Mar 5,2007 11:32am
I have a big problem with these little 15 year olds coming to shows JUST to get in the pit to punch someone in the face. If I get hit, that's the end for them.

toggletoggle post by luke nli at Mar 5,2007 11:34am
At our shows, please...
1. Do not fight...we're not impressed
b.Take it outside like a man
Otherwise, please don't show up and ruin it for everyone else...including the bands.
With that said, I had an awesome time.

toggletoggle post by SacreligionNLI at Mar 5,2007 11:42am
this dude has the right idea...yeah those people can be annoying but they should never ruin your good time

ive seen some good things at nashua. last week the singer of Black My Heart broke up a fight before it started. If you get hit, suck it up or just leave. Accidents happen and we dont have perfect mosh precision. Last week at the On Broken Wings show some kid was standing in the front row with his arms crossed enjoying a band and some guy grabbed him and threw him against 10 people and punched him in the head. Shit like that is uncalled for really and retarded

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Mar 5,2007 10:46pm
yeah dude i hear you on that....
getting hit really doesn't bother me too much its just shit like crowd punches and people going at the people who are just standing there trying to enjoy the band. cause when stuff like that starts people start fights which then you ruin the fun for everyone. which is lame.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Mar 5,2007 10:48pm
I think I got punched in the neck while hammer bros was playing. I'm always better bruises, but then I forget when I got them. Carina sees them and then I get showered with sympathy...

There is a bruise on my hip that I got some um.. some show and then it was made too look at lot worse when a drunked aaron michael hit it with his cast.

As always I would like to thank everyone that came out, despite the bullshit that sprouted in just about every corner of the venue. I felt this was a magical night and a big thank you goes out to all the bands and kids that made this night one of the most memorable nights of my life! To the girl that brought me the frothing face wash, thank you!! I used it this morning!!

this was an awesome show.

aaron michael: it was at the DBH. no worries. I was on your good arm side so the cast was nothing but a love tap. I think it was about 30 minutes after you said "I always watch out around you" OH THE IRONING!.

hammer bros: it's pretty cool that they were able to jump on this show after the dover elks whatever happened. they were the only band that made it over. Definitly a bonus on this show. All the kids that love the posi sing alongs were happy. They raised the good additude like 5 points. It also seems like everyone in this band is in another band and very busy.

seventh star: a fight with in the first song? Who do these people think they are, since the flood? they were 2 dumb fights during their set. People seemed to know about them... But I hadn't. Good stuff.

toggletoggle post by luke nli at Mar 7,2007 1:50am
Reviews two days later??? You're really losing it aaron...
Seventh Star is honestly awesome...especially their last record. They're at Godcity now recording their new record, then they'll be going out with us and Ramallah for a month...with none other than myself playing drums!!!
It's gonna be a blast...but whatever...check out SS and pick up their record if you dig it.
