TRANSLATION LOSS RECORDS SIGNS IREPRESS!

Translation Loss Records are extremely please to announce the addition of Boston, Massachusetts’ very own IREPRESS to their ever growing and evolving roster!

IREPRESS (pronounced Eear-press) consist of five ancestrally diverse individuals collaboratively creating music that embodies the forward thinking aesthetic that Translation Loss Records strives toward.

Early 2007 will see the release of IREPRESS’ debut full length “Samus Octology,” eight tracks of progressive and complex arrangements intertwined with a defined sense of melody. Completely instrumental, “Samus Octology” presents itself with a wide array of material and emotions that surpass the need for vocal interruption. Forbes Graham of Kayo Dot (Robotic Empire/Tzadik) also makes a guest appearance on their stunning debut.

IREPRESS’ unique and versatile sound has allowed them to share the stage with the likes of Isis, The Wu Tang Clan, Immortal Technique, Hatebreed, Kool Keith, Kayo Dot, Shadows Fall and Gym Class Heroes.

I care. Played with irrepress and they were nice dudes, awesome live, and a wall of sound. Tasteful drumming too.
