Information on buying advanced tickets:
1. It costs the same to buy in person OR online (no service charge)
2. Tickets ARE refundable. If you buy some and realize you can't make it, come into the box office and they will refund you.
3. This show is more expensive then most of my shows due to renting the room and paying the bands. Considering that people pay almost $10 for movies, it seems reasonable to pay a little less then that for awesome bands in an awesome movie theater. Regardless, If anyone feels they can't afford this they should email me.

I enjoyed this show very much. It sucked that it was sooo late. I was falling asleep durring Tides and knew there was no way I could make it through Gregor Samsa at that time of night. Damn my job for making me work at 9am.

tides: long set up time. you would think they were setting up for a orchestraed performance. after the first song, they broken string. it was interesting to see brad's brother up there playing with them. he looks a lot like him. there was also the weird noise kid.
gregor samsa: it took a long time to set up. Something was up with the vocals I think so it took a loooong time. So long that I fell asleep which is really hard for me to do... Woke with a jerk. Which I tried to play all cool like I didn't just fall asleep. They started off sounding like a gsybe clone which wound have been aces in my book from the start, but they woked in parts that sounded like the auburn lull. Plus, if that weren't enough folks, they had duel vocals that were quiet and sing-songy like low. that absolutely ruled. the basic song structures were like gsybe with their build up of music, crashing like a wave and then fading away into something soft and opposite to the build up which sits in the trough. They didn't have too many jarring or overtly jangly guitars until the last song, but the sharp edges on that songs was smoothed out by sweetly echoing female vocals. |
