New site? Maybe some day.

the price of gas has gone up from $1.98 to $2.35 since Xmas.
WE AREN'T, I REPEAT, AREN'T BOMBING THE SHIT OUT OF ENOUGHT PEOPLE.
someone bring a war against someone with more oil and darker skin please. |
|
something tells me we didn't go to war for oil |
|
I say fuck the polar bears and lets drill in Alaska. It's the only way we can rid our dependency on foreign oil. |
|
no, we went cause they had weapons of mass destruction and were part of the axis of evil knievel

yes, a 6 month supply of oil that we wouldn't even see for 10 years will surely rid us of our oil foreign oil dependency...Bush did go into Iraq for control of the resources there, but what makes you think that we'll see a dime of it? Maybe the billions of our tax dollars Bush just gave to the oil companies with record profits will help...oh wait, that's absurd. Why the fuck are we even still using oil? |
|
I think before we procreate with polar bears, we stop every shit eating soccer mom and business type dude from driving around in a 10mpg land tank to make then feel more "safe"/"manly" respectively.
I drive a car that gets 40-52mpg I ain't complaining. |
|
anytime I hear 'weapons of mass destruction' in my mind I hear Kim Jong il from 'Team America' : 'We dho nhat habv wepons of mass destrukton, Hanz Brix' |

We get more oil from Mexico than any other oil exporting country in the world. Hell, they owe us enough already because we take all their sickest/poorest/most uneducated citizens, we should invade them next.

i love the new car commericals where they boast about their cars getting 30mpg like it's this huge achivement, when those cars should actually be getting over 60mpg...120 for a hybrid.
|
|
have any american car companies made a hybrid yet? |

In 15-20 years, Hydrogen fuel will most likely dominate. Its a pretty fucking massive change over. It's not like changing our cable from analog to HD. Speaking of which, do we all have our HD tv's yet? soon our analog idiot boxes will be obsolete. |
|
HOVER BOARDS!
I've been waiting for one ever since I saw 'Back to the Future 2'. Whats the deal? |

Great idea!!! You go first. We'll be right behind you, really, we will. |

I have 2 HD tvs...
I'm not going to go into the HD benefits here.
and as for hydrogen.. well.. you need to make hydrogen some how. How do you think that is going to be made? solar power/wind/tide like it should be? nope, coal/oil will probably be making hydrogen for the first x years. I wish that oil companies would focus to make the world better. and work on making hydrogen plants out of abandoned gas stations with huge solar collectors on all the roofs.
oh well, business as usual. |

I want to fuel my Buick with corpsepaint |

I saw a program on the History channel the other night. They make it using tap water and the machines are solar powered. CA is home of the first hydrogen power stations. I don't remember the exact number, but there are quite a few of them. The problem is consumers switching from gasoline combustion engines to a hydrogen powered engine. Not everyone has the money to go buy a new car, so we pretty much have to drive our gas guzzlers to the ground while auto companies begin manufacturing all hydrogen powered cars.

my car is feuled by my own sense of self satisfaction! |

it would take 15 years to convert half of the worlds acrs and anything besides oil powered so hoping for new technology to save us from gas prices is pretty useless. The reason gas prices are so high is because there is a such a huge demand for a resource that is finite. With in the next few years the entire planets oil production will have peaked which will cause a slow drop in production and sharp peaks in prices. America's production peaked in the 70's and the last few countries that haven't peaked are of course middle eastern and they don't have enough to sustain powers such as us and china during its modernization. As far as Alaska goes there is said to be at most 2.6 billion gallons which would only last us a handfull of years and lower gas prices for a few months. In the last hundred years america alone has pissed away over 200 billion gallons and we are now only left with around 20 billion gallons which we have already tapped into. Don't take my word for it, google "peak oil" or check out drydipstick.com. |
|
there are, I believe, 4 hydrogen stations in the nation.
2 in CA, one in TX, and I think the other is in florida. though the machines weren't solar powered last I heard, they were off the electrical grid.
and yes, tey do make hydrogen from tap water..er.. well, distilled tap water. It's a very easy process that I could actually a machine to do it and create hydrogen.
2H²0 = 2H²+0²
but alas, that would be coming from my electric outlet which would be coming from oil/nuclear/coal/natural gas |

i want a speeder bike

d'oh. it's a no win situation.
|
|
oh... and 2H˛0 = 2H˛+0˛ isn't always that perfect of a reaction...
there would be H³ and O³ hanging around... |
|
we need to halt all soy and tofu production and make biodiesel fuel with soybeans |
|

i need one of those cars. i get 14 mpg. blarf! |
|
yea, wtf is up with that shite
I just paid $2.49 leaving work in Fall River for 89
I'd be super stoked to just pay $2
luckly my car gets decent milage |
|
I've been filling up or nearly filling up on $20 for the last nine or so months, but it's still gay that I only get about 3/4th of a tank now. I can only fantasize about how cheap my little riceburner would have been when gas was under a dollar. |

Let's have a war
So you can go and die
Let's have a war
We can all use the money
Let's have a war
We need the space
