i completely agree. i see far too many bands online that i've never even heard of. yet their website is decked out with artwork and all these pretentious promo shots of them with arms folded. promo shots dont matter if you arent working hard on the music, getting it out there.

no one gives a shit what you look like as long as the music is good.

for those that care more about the image, signing artists that meet specific guidelines, are all in the wrong field of work trying to milk money out of an industry that is founded on art and creativity.....and very little money for the actual artists
