Dont even need to summon critters anymore, just straight up destruction. I might start over as an archer-thief. The only quest bug I think I've had so far is the one in mage college where you help the student with her experiments. The step is "wait for the spell effects to wear off" but that was like 20 levels ago and I can't see a way to progress it, and no dialogue helps.
