If full disclosure were to happen, I'd feel a sense of relief and inspiration to no end (unless they are a threat to our species.)

Hey, at least if they're a threat maybe humans could get it together to unify and fight them?

That's exactly how these technologies, if they are human (and there are plenty of indications that at least some suspected saucer technologies could be hidden programs brought from the Third Reich to the US under Project Paperclip), could help to bring about the endgame plan for a real neo-feudal NWO... A fake alien threat used to bring the militaries of the world under one banner could be the final death-knell for the nation-state and popular sovereignty. In light of the reaction in the US to the threat of alleged jihadists with limited technological capabilities (despite overwhelming evidence against the official story of 9/11) and the ongoing anti-Islamic/terrrrist fervor 9 years after the fact, I think a bogus alien "invasion", as a species-wide/planetary threat, could prove to be the ultimate psy-war gambit.

Which is not to say that I reject the idea of intergalatic/interdimensional visitors out of hand, but such manipulation from within the Pentagon and National Security establishment has been par for the course in the post-WWII era and can't be ruled out.

I like the way you think.
