Although i think it wouldn't always be bad to say the reason, it'd only be bad when the reason involved drama/personal shit/ect.. People trying out will usually want to know why the last person left. If you can't say something nice, then say they left for personal reasons.. That statement works for almost anything, and you can explain in depth once you're seriously talking about working together. I feel terrible for talking badly about the old Useful Idiot guitarist, I shoulda kept that shit to myself.
