After some sleep, I still can't understand why you lost your temper so much yesterday. Maybe your band is chronically bad at understanding humor, but both of my comments to you were nothing worse than the shit you say about friends all the time. Not "You're a waste of life" like one of your band mates called me, not "being your typical retarded self", but in fact just pointing out the fact that you were being cranky about a show. And no, i wasn't implying you were cranky because you couldn't play it, it's just always strange when someone is so disinterested in something yet spends so much time complaining about it. Maybe MY sense of humor is off, but i always thought you could give your "friends" shit when they're complaining too much. And I thought it would be obvious that when i said "big time show booker" you would know that I read this board, and that I am aware of the lineups you're responsible for.

I'm sick of the double standard so common on this board. The mentality that people should never take you too seriously, and then to jump on top of someone for fucking with you. Or is that just ok because I play what's looked at as popular now? (Like I didn't play tech in (ouch).) And do i really look like i care what's popular? I certainly look less into trends (based on clothing/lack of piercings) than most people i see at shows, but obviously I'm trying to fit in. Is it at all possible that i just LIKE the music i listen to, or is it really impossible to like/be into popular music?
