The people who "force" God down anyone's throat is getting in the way of God's work. I feel the best way to "preach" the Gospel is by being myself and living my life. I've always considered faith to be an organic, personal aspect of life and it's not really fair to "make" someone believe what you believe. That is the reason why Jesus gave us the parable of the wheat and the chaff.

Like I've said, I mostly agree with you guys about your stances on organized religion. I am vehemently anti-Catholicism. I feel a lot of their doctrines and practices to be utter nonsense. For example, I despise the image of the Pope. People treat him like a second Christ when he's just a bloated old man that Catholics practically worship. It's sickening.

I don't think that shoving God in a church building and expecting people to show up every single Sunday and give money every single week is actually progressing the human race. God works through personal interactions in our every day lives, not just on a Sunday morning.

I know it's pointless to defend myself but I only do it because I'm stressing the fact that I'm not the "average Christian". I do not represent the image of Christianity you all have encountered. I am just as angry about it as you are but for me, it's for a different reason.
