Im not even trying to be a dick here, the lhc scares the bejesus out of me, not to say that we shouldnt be doing it, cause the best thing that could possibly come from it is that it wipes out the galaxy, but still... Im aware of recent developments in physics, a handful of my close friends out at college are physics majors and they go to big physics conventions where people present for a ful week on advancements and yadda yadda yadda, the fact of the matter remains, unless we throw out the book of rudimentary physics (which lhc isnt likely to do), interstellar travel isnt happening in our lifetimes and Im human so I am pulling for a plague of flesh hungry aliens to come to our planet and try impregnating our women, but Im not holding my breath...
