SHAI HALUD: (main stage) matt fox's birthday. Carina and I yelled it at him on stage. The new singer looks really familiar. He was a bit unsure of himself. I saw matt pointing him around. They still had the same drummer from versoma or LGS or whatever band he was in. Sounded really good and the crowd was climbing on each other to participate.

SONS OF AZREAL: (second stage) wtf! This band was a milder vital remains.. Yet the entire front row was all 15 year old kids looking at their neighbor to see what to do next. Is this the next insanely popular genre? Like christian core had it's year, deathcore had it's year and now it's time for blasphemy? The band was almost as tr00 and kvlt as one could be. Shirt-wise at least. They all had shirts from reputable metal bands. The music was excellent. Like I said, vital remains, but a little milder. There wasn't any of the over the top riffs or drumming. Just pure blackened deathmetal. Hail satan.

3 inches of blood: (main stage) carina said rush. I can see that, I really can. The band is fun to watch live, but I don't really like them. I'm oing to stick with the rush analogy.. But add that they have powermetal vocals at points. Drummer was high energy. At the end of the set, he jumped out of the kit. Managing to launch himself between the cymbols. he landed backwards and hit the last note as he landed.

apiary: (second stage) I missed them on the x dalla brawla tour. It was cool to see them, but I wasn't impressed. I think they need more crowd participation in their set and most people just stood there. Also the singer was mostly in the back with the drummer.
