haha, that is a pretty brutal review. i guess when a band has been around for so long and doesn't make too many efforts to change their sound on a grand scale (which isn't a bad thing in some cases), it can lead to reviews and general opinions like that. i think it's a good album, but i do agree on the song titles. they're pretty cliche and unimaginative, but coming from a band that has always had song titles like that for the most part, it's no surprise. if you also forget that "destroy the opposition" ever came out, this album is automatically 5x better. i personally believe it's a few steps up from "stop at nothing" as well.

as far as the artwork goes, i'm glad that orion landau took care of it. he's one of my favorite graphic designers (and i usually don't give graphic designers much attention to begin with overall). he's able to take a few simple elements and create a strong composition without making it look like 5 other pieces. the fact that he was able to use a skull in a manner that no one else has done is amazing itself, considering how overused skulls are these days.
