Is it myspace or soulseek or what? you'd be surprised at how many youngin's know about these bands. however the issue i have seen is that they listen to it because its cool to do so, or because it goes against what their parents say. they dont understand the ideology behind it. they read Lords of Chaos and assumed it made them an authority on black metal. in the black metal genre there is a GIGANTIC difference between listening and hearing. more so than any other genre.
