Ancient Greece and Rome were diversity successes? They weren't diverse in their earlier days. Then they got diverse, and shortly afterward collapsed.
No. They both encompassed a diverse range of cultures, languages and geographies, and this had nothing to do with them "collapsing shortly afterward."
Again, show us all the insular, isolated cultures that you're suggesting were more "successful". Iceland? Japan? Easter Island?
