secondstage
invocation of nehek: lots of hi's and love to me when I walked up in there. rob cyr was wearing a super old school porphyria shirt... that shits from way back in the '04' days! there were plenty of kids up here for them.

ion dissonance: well, I got knocked over right as I got in there. I had my camera in my hands and normally, I just raise it up, fall into some people and I'm still standing. but I slipped in between some people and headed towards the ground (with my hands in the air). at this point, my knight in moe armor grabbed me by my backpack and pulled me back up. thanks moe! they were pretty intense live. a lot of their antics on stage remind me of the end.

the minor times: so glad that I mosied up stairs a bit early from the estoic. these guys went on waaaay early. their stage presense is just awesome. no lights though this time. (they had lights last time I saw them).

scurvy: I got contacted a week or so ago from stuff magazine, asking me for scurvy pictures... anyhow, this is how a scurvy show should be. the last couple of ones I saw, people just stood around not doing anything... maybe one person dancing for their one breakdown... but this time there were people rolling over each other left and right. During "yo ho ho" there were even people head walking. it was quite the crazy scene.

catastrophic: oh to be the metal band on the "hardcore" stage on the "hardcore" day of metalfest... such is their fate. yeah, the guitar player from obituary was there playing too. there weren't too many people there.. I'd say it was a one-to-one thing with the # of photgs to people watching.

with honor: wow, kids went off for them. I was don in front at one point and there was just too much craziness going on to stay there. bunch of old tracks and new tracks. I'm sure there were plenty of kids that came just to see them since they haven't been around the area for a long time. perfect way to end a day on the second stage. this reminded me of years ago when american nightmare played.
